Questions Customers Ask Us
Frequently Asked Questions.
These are the questions people usually ask before moving from conventional wooden or board-based cabinetry to premium steel interiors.
Will my kitchen look like a commercial steel kitchen?
No. GLANZ is designed as residential furniture. The steel is the engineered core; the visible design can be matt, coloured, glass, neutral, textured or wood-look.
Is the wood finish actually wood, laminate or mica?
No. In our steel cabinetry, a wood-look option is only the visual finish. The cabinet structure remains steel; it is not a plywood, MDF, WPC, HDHMR, laminate or mica core.
Will steel rust?
Steel needs proper material selection, surface preparation and finishing. GLANZ uses appropriate pretreatment and coated finishes designed to resist normal indoor moisture and corrosion. No responsible manufacturer should claim that metal can never corrode under every possible condition.
Will shutters or shelves sag over time?
Correctly engineered steel sections are rigid and highly resistant to the sagging commonly seen when board-based shelves are overloaded. Gauge, span and reinforcement still need to be designed correctly.
Will a steel kitchen make metallic noise?
A premium steel kitchen should not feel noisy or tinny. Correct fabrication, damped hardware, alignment and professional installation are what make the daily experience refined.
Can I change the colour later?
Yes, one advantage of steel is that many coated surfaces can be refinished or recoloured when you renovate, subject to surface condition and the selected finish system.
What if a hinge, channel or component develops a problem?
Hardware is a manufactured component and, like components in cars or appliances, an occasional defect can occur. We focus on recognised-quality hardware, correct installation and service support rather than making impossible “nothing will ever fail” claims.
What does your warranty actually mean?
Warranty should not be only a sales statement. Applicable coverage and terms are shared with the order, and our support team is intended to give customers a clear route for genuine covered service issues.
Why not just buy any steel kitchen?
Because material alone does not create a good kitchen. Gauge, reinforcement, tolerances, edge detailing, pretreatment, coating, hardware, installation and after-sales capability make the difference.
How experienced is GLANZ?
GLANZ is backed by 25 years of manufacturing expertise and has delivered more than 1,200 projects to date, with presence continuing to expand into additional cities.
Can steel cabinetry get dents?
Correctly engineered panels, with suitable reinforcements or sandwich-panel construction where specified, can resist everyday impact and reduce drumming. They are not absolutely dent-proof: a hard impact can still mark or deform metal. GLANZ specifies construction to suit the application.
Can I get an electric shock from a steel kitchen?
A properly installed steel kitchen is safe when electrical work uses correct insulation, protective earthing, MCB/RCCB protection and qualified installation. Cars and appliances also use metal structures safely—but metal itself is not an insulator. Electrical fixtures must be fitted and checked by a qualified electrician; never assume a low-wattage light eliminates shock risk.
